Welcome to the Kolekcjoner auction service through which collector coins and banknotes issued by the National Bank of Poland are put up for sale.
Auctions are announced at least 7 days in advance. In the course of an auction each authorised user is allowed to submit 5 bids, in which they specify the number of coins or banknotes and a unit price. Following the end of auction, the IT system analyses all bids submitted in the auction and, based on the bids, determines the final sale price of the coins and banknotes put up for auction.
We kindly inform that the Resolution No 73/2009 of the National Bank of Poland Management Board of 26 October 2009 on the terms and conditions of sale by the National Bank of Poland of coins, banknotes and numismatic items for collection and other purposes has been amended.
The most significant changes introduced to the Resolution:
possibility to pay for the collector items won at the auction via a bank transfer, was also granted to private participants,
list of eligible collaterals submitted by private and institutional participants who intend to submit at a single auction bids for a total amount in excess of PLN 20,000 was extended to include the so-called guarantee deposit.
The number of the NBP bank account to which a guarantee deposit should be paid:
37 1010 0000 0000 1323 9700 0000
The payment title field of the payment order should state as follows: "KOLEKCJONER - payment of the guarantee deposit by … (details that enable identification of the user in the online auction system!)".
Note: The minimum amount of a guarantee deposit is PLN 1,333.40, and covers bids for a total amount of PLN 20,001. The value of a guarantee deposit should be calculated based on the following formula: the total value of bids to be submitted at a single auction divided by 15 (this formula applies both to bank guarantees and guarantee deposits).
